About Our Model Schools, Classrooms and Labs

Visitors to our model schools sense a feeling of joy, humor, vitality, playfulness, and a strong focus on learning. Our model schools are national and state award winners for educational excellence.

All of the schools use Carbo recorded books which are recorded in small amounts, at a somewhat slow pace, so that students can easily follow along and listen again if needed. A wide range of reading methods are used, depending on the reading style strengths and the interests of each student. A strong emphasis is placed on reading comprehension and enjoyment with skills learned in a relaxing environment through games and small-group work.
