I am a school counselor in an elementary school in Alta, Iowa. I learned about NRSI through a class I took last summer. When learning about Colored Overlays, the faces of poor readers at my school flashed before my eyes.

I ordered the overlays and began screening students. I now have a list of students who love them, read longer, and enjoy it for the first time. They say that the letters don't move anymore, the page doesn't hurt their eyes, and their eyes don't burn when they go home. Some have improved their grades significantly. Most of them like reading more. They like school more too! The students read faster and remember what they read better.
