Marie Carbo

Dr. Marie Carbo is first and foremost a teacher. Her revolutionary recording method has been used by tens of thousands of teachers, and the dramatic results of her work have been published in nearly every major educational journal.


Dr. Carbo is also a national award-winning researcher. The Association for Supervision and Development listed her research with struggling readers as one of the 21 most important events of the last 150 years in reading instruction. She has had over 100 articles published in major journals and written three ground-breaking books.


Barbara Hinds

Barbara Hinds’ training in Reading Styles receives rave reviews across the United States. Educators love the fun, the inspiration, and the multitude of powerful ideas that Barbara provides. She is caring, enthusiastic, and deeply knowledgeable about kids, learning, and how to pull the two together.
